About Us

Pull up a stool at Elks Lodge 2408 on Emerald Road and you'll quickly understand why members keep coming back. Rated 4.5 stars across more than 112 reviews, this lodge has earned its reputation the old-fashioned way: people actually like being here. The staff greets newcomers warmly, walks them through the membership process, and makes the whole thing feel less like joining an organization and more like finding your people.

The atmosphere is low-key and comfortable, the kind of place where the Bullhead City heat outside fades the moment you walk in. On Monday through Friday afternoons the bar opens, quick food hits the table fast, and the conversation flows freely. Thursday evenings bring lodge meetings where the business of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks gets done alongside the camaraderie that makes it worthwhile.

If you're new to the area or just looking for a local anchor, members here will sit down with you, answer every question, and sponsor your application personally. That kind of welcome is harder to find than it should be.

What We Offer

Lodge 2408 keeps things practical and unpretentious. The bar is open Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., giving working members a reliable after-shift spot. On special meal days the kitchen steps up with full plates; on regular days, quick-serve food is always available so nobody leaves hungry. Parking is plentiful, service is fast, and the staff knows how to read the room.

Beyond the bar, the lodge hosts weekly Thursday meetings that cover community initiatives, charitable giving, and member business. The BPOE has a long track record of supporting veterans, youth programs, and local causes, and Lodge 2408 carries that mission into the Tri-State area. Members can also access reciprocal privileges at Elks lodges nationwide, making it useful whether you're a full-time Bullhead City resident or a seasonal visitor who just bought a home nearby.

"Been to the lodge a half of dozen times since April.bought a home near the elks. My wife (elks member) and myself stopped on a Thursday thinking we'd attend your meeting. Man at door says, sorry we're closed for meeting. We thought of attending meeting. Not feeling welcome. Move forward to Friday October 3rd. Lady at door opens and says, what can I do for you. Had a great dinner,1 drink and left. I thought of transferring my membership but have second thoughts. I'm a 38 Year member. 2 time PER. I would like to see your members and staff be more welcoming. Catherine selling tickets was great. J Anderson"

"I was invited as a guest to attend Karaoke night with tacos. I had an absolute blast. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The tacos were perfect. I performed a couple of very mediocre karaoke numbers, and the Elk’s folks made me feel like a star each time. I’m not a member yet, as I don’t live here locally, but I highly recommend anyone who has a kind heart and wants to be a part of something special to become a member. I will certainly look into becoming a member at the lodge near me. Shout out to Mike, the karaoke dj. He’s a dang professional and a dang good singer! Keep up the good work, everyone."

"I went as a guest. It was my first time there. I really enjoyed myself. Everyone was dressed for a 1950's sock hop. They had a group of 3 men who sang. The name of the group was " 3 sheets to the Wind" Dinner was delicious! A good time was had by all!!"

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
